You hit the nail on the head when you said that the pool company was trying to sell this product as a install and then you just have to add the vivid and shimmer as directed and not have to do anything else to the pool. I also questioned the 16 week kit for the $399.00 price tag and the sales lady said that is what I should expect to pay in chemicals if I were to just use the regular maintenance/chemicals.
