    Thx for the reply.

    My brother in law was concerned because of the high pressure and bubbles coming out into the pool. I believe the bubbles are largely due to the skimmer attachment bringing air into the pump.

    All I know is I never want to pay $15 for one of the crappy paper filters that work for 2 days and are never truely cleaned for re-use.

    Just having to check the ph and CL is enough fun, never mind a clogged filter every weekend without the capability of vaccuming...

    I know, you get what you pay for...

    It's not a huge thing but I would try and fix the air leaks. A lot of times air leaks will leak water when the system is not running.

    The cause would be either the connections or the lint pot lid. I would work on these and see if you can slow it down.
