Unhappy Ready to test pool with K-2006 kit, need some help please

My K-2006 test kit finally arrived and I am a bit overwhelmed with it. Where do I even begin? I watched the first video and hate to say this, but it's got me confused. As of now I would like to test my chlorine and pH level. Then move onto the other testing needed.

    To test for FC:
Fill the tube up to 10mL mark with pool water.
Add 1 scoop of the R-0870 powder. (If it doesn't turn pink, add another scoop otherwise you don't need the second scoop.) Swirl to mix.
Add drops of R-0871, one at a time, swirling after each one. Add drops til the sample turns clear. Then, multiply the number of drops by 0.5. (In other words, every two drops = 1ppm.) This is your FC reading.

    To check for CC:
Take that same sample you have been using and add 5 drops of R-0003.
If it turns pink at all, you again add drops of R-0871, swirling after each, til the sample turns clear again. Multiply the number of drops by 0.5. This is your CC reading. (If it doesn't turn pink when you add the R-0003, then your CC is 0 which is good!)

    To test pH:
Fill the tube up to the 44mL line.
Add 5 drops of R-0004 (the red drops)
    Swirl to mix.
Compare the color of the sample against the colors on the tester.

(By the way, these directions are listed inside the lid of your kit.)

Again, we'll use your other thread now instead of this one.
