    Question Sandy pool

    How can I get the sand out of my pool? My filter pucked sand into my above ground pool, when I vaccum I can't get it all out any suggestions?

    Ginny, welcome to the forum. Sorry no one has gotten back to you yet It sounds like you have a broken latteral in the bottom of the filter, the only way to replace it is to remove all the sand and check the latterals and replace as necessary. I strongly suggest that when replacing the sand you substitute 50 lbs (+/-) of pea gravel for the bottom of the filter and add 50m lbs less of sand (if your filter is tiny, you want about 1/5 the sand amnt., enough to cover the latterals 1/2" - 1" and subtract the #s from the sand you add).
