It's probably not ideal to do so, but if
(1) the area is LEVEL, and
(2) free of rocks and sticks,
you should be OK.
Just keep in mind, an inexpensive vinyl pool that's been stored for 4 years may NOT be OK.
Okay, this may be a silly question. Can we set up our Intex pool on top of the grass? Or do we need to clear the grass first? I think it's been almost 4 years since we have used our pool, and when we set it up then it was our first time ever owning a pool.

Even if the pool was stored in doors? Now, I'm really curious to get it out and see what kind of shape it is in. Can you please recommend a place that I can order solar panels and a solar cover?

If I remember correctly, they are 24' x 52", round metal frame Intex pool.
I found all of the paper work that came along with our pool, but the owner's manual is for round metal frame pool from 10'-24' models. Yikes, I guess the only way to truly know if it is the 24' by 52" deep pool is to take it out of storage. I am about 99.9% sure that it is the 24' one, but it may only be 48" rather than the 52", I remember purchasing it from Sam's Club many years ago.
The owner's manual for the pump is the Krystal Clear Model 635T Filter Pump.

I'd recommend getting it out, and running, before buying accessories.
They are probably available quickly, and it would be a bummer to buy them, and then discover that the pool has dry-rotted
Small, gnawing critters seem to love vinyl.

We have had it stored in our basement in a large Rubbermaid container. Sealed with a lid. We had it in the garage to allow it to completely dry prior to storing it.
Then, hopefully it will be ok.
