I have had this problem for several seasons and it is still driving me crazy. The jet in the pool that the Polaris is plugged into has quite a bit of air and debris coming out of it. I leave the Polaris plugged in and that helps control the return of debris back into the pool. I check the little screen daily so that it doesn't get clogged...it is generally full if I leave it for about 3days. If I unplug the Polaris and use the vacuum air and debris come back into the pool only through that Polaris jet. I know that this is an airless system. I see no air in the pump basket now. The Polaris motor and lines are after the pump basket. Is it possible that air is coming into one of the lines going into or out of the Polaris motor? They are that flexible tubing. I would send a picture but don't see where to attach.
