The vacuum hose fits into the opening under a skimmer basket.
Hello all!
Just finished having my IG shotcrete pool installed (30,000 gallons). It took forever for the pool company to come and start up my equipment (over 7 days) from when I had water put in the pool. It will probably take another week or tow for "orientation". In the mean time I have no documenation on how to vacuum the pool. What specifically I would like to know is the valve setting and where to connect the vacuum hose. Here are some specifics -
1) Jandy 60 sf DE filter with jandy multiport valve
2) MDX debris removal system
3) Mars Booster pump cleaner with its own connection
4) I have 3 skimmers (2 for the filter and 1 for a sheer descent)
5) 6 wall returns, 3 solar recircluating floor returns and a main drain
6) I also have a round vent with a part grid on the side wall in the deep end (looks like the main drain but its on the wall)
So I did not want to use the Mars cleaner until the orientation happens but the company gave me a flexible hose and manual vacuum head. Heres my questions -
- Where do I connect the flexible hose? for the vacuum
- What valve setting (if any) should I use for vacuuming the pool
The pool is not that dirty, just dirt from the pipes during construction which I have mostly brushed to the main drain. I just ahve a few spots that I can not brush well which I want to vacuum up.
Thanks for your advice and let me know if I need to provide any more information
