I have a 30 footer getting installed soon and I was breezing over the packet they gave us. From what that says it needs to be pretty dry before they install.
I have a pool contractor installing a 24' AG pool. It rained about a total of 6" over a three day period through Sunday and the ground was completely saturated. Our soil is mostly sand and small rocks. Today, Tuesday the contractor wants to install the pool but the ground is still not dried out.
My question is, does the ground need to completely dry out before attempting the installation or is it ok to lay down the new sand layer and put up the pool?

Hi, it is tough to install a pool if you are sinking in mud. As long as I am not sinking I go ahead with the install.
Hope all goes well, Dennis

Thanks for the replies. It is raining here again so I think we will wait for a couple of days of dry weather and go ahead with the install.
