Default Opening pool to green algae

I'm a little late opening my pool this season and now have to battle green algae. I have tested the water with the recommended Taylor test kit and here are the results:

    ph: 8 or higher
    FC: 0
    CC: 0
    TA: 90
    CYA: 70

I have the filter hooked up and ready to go. I don't know if I should add the bleach through the skimmer to shock as the algae is not dead. I don't know how to kill it otherwise. Also, I believe I read in another post that you recommend using 3 gallons of bleach? I'm not sure how much to use.

Thank you so much for your time. You all are incredible!

With a CYA of 70, the shock level for FC is 20. you'll need to and keep it there or higher until the pool turns cloudy / blue. 4 gallons (not jugs, gallons) of 8.25% bleach will get you to 25. You'll need more to keep the FC at shock. Pour it in aroung the pool and mix it with a paddle or something. I suspect that that filter will clog quickly so don't run it if you're not around to check the pressure and backwash. That filter doesn't have a recirculate setting so you'll be filtering when you run the pump.
