    Default Test Chemical/Reagent replacement

Anyone care to offer advice on the frequency with which the chemicals in my K2006c should be replaced? I purchased the kit at the beginning of last season and I've got lots of everything left (except the CYA test chemical). Thanks in advance! Mike

You should be fine. Reagents actually last for awhile especially if they are stored in a cool, dry place. The powder occasionally goes bad but you'll be able to tell. It will turn gray and will be obvious that it needs replaced.

I replace my reagents every other season, except for DPD powder I buy new every season since I go through most all of a 10 gram bottle in a single season, and haven't had any problems. I do keep them inside (climate controlled) and out of direct light.
