Pool control panel....Aqua plus

I have a 18x36 in ground salt water pol that is about 6 years old. I currently have a Hayward Aqua plus gold line control. I am starting to have issues with the display screen not reading minerals correctly and the display is in and out. Can this be repaired or is it just better to replace it? It works as far as turning the pump on and off, day time and temp, but salt reading is wrong and it keeps telling me the minerals are low and this pool supplier says differently......
