Default In-line Chlorine Feeders VS Chlorine Floaters

I need to replace my Hayward CL200 inline chlorine feeder. Looking online to get a replacement I have just found that these are inefficeint and restrict return flow. Are the floating feeders the way to go? I see that most of you promote using the BBB method but I am new to this and have not read enough to fully understand what I need to transistion to this system.

Default Re: In-line Chlorine Feeders VS Chlorine Floaters

Floaters are fine, but kids can dump the tabs into the pool, and damage the liner or bottom.

The Pentair / Rainbow RB-320 works well, but like all tablet feeders is a hazard installed in an enclosed area, due to the fumes released when the feeder is opened. Also, like all inline feeders, it must be installed DOWNSTREAM of heaters or any other pool equipment with metal parts. Common problems with the RB-320 include installing it backwards: the flow is directional, and the unit will not work if reversed.

The current (May 2014) price at Amazon for the clear model is a great deal; I'm not sure why it's so low.
