This is not something I can help you with but hopefully someone should be along shortly who can offer you some advice.
I just wanted to welcome you to the Pool Forum!
I need some help here.
I have an 18 ft round intex pool, ive got the water flow controls on both ports (im know im not using correct lingo here). I want to keep these intact because it works well and would like to adapt from it. My hoses dont fit onto the Hayward pump and filter. Im useing hoses that have threads at both ends the hayward pump and filter are straight. I found one hose laying around here that I was able to clamp in place and fit inside one of my hoses. Problem I dont know how to buy another one of these... But I am sure there is some kit I can use to do this properly.
Hope this makes sense... Please help me.

Thanks for the welcome .. I am new here. Ohh my old pump is/was the intex 2500... All hoses used are screw type (again which I would like to keep at one end to hook up to pool). Thanks
. . . membership updated.
I can't help with the conversion either, unless you can post (or email to poolforum@gmail.com) HIGH QUALITY photos of all both pumps, the hoses and other bits and pieces.
At a minimum, you'll need to ID exactly which Hayward pump you have.
