Here are a few pics of my 30' AG pool. We dug it into a small slope, so the lowest side towards the house is only 20 inches off the ground. These pics are more of the deck...I'll try to get more of the pool. I hope this works!

I designed and built the house myself, and designed and built the deck, installed the pool, etc, myself. Since these pics, I added white vinyl lattice under all the decking.

    see if this works guys....

If it does great.......if not,, I'll keep tryin. To put a nail on my started thread "ester williams or doughboy" this is what we went with. This is the 30' EW w/ 52" walls. I liked the styling and the fact that the walls are aluminum. We still have alot of work to do to make it our "paradise away from the carribean" but it'll be fun.

We plan to extend the deck from where I am standing to take this picture and broaden it out on the right side and to the left near the bottom of the picture.
Until then, I'll hold of on the photos.

You need to put the link in between the image tags, this is what you will get.

I have some big trees around the pool, which are pretty - but they block a lot of sun and cause tons of extra work. I'd cut them down myself if they weren't so huge and kinda leaning towrads the house!

But your pool looks great to me. I'm curious to see how your decking turns out.
Yeah, I see your point about those darn trees. I have a landscaper friend who will do what ever I need to. I may eventually cut back about 20-30 feet but for now it'll have to do. I am most interested in the decking first since we only have about 2 months of swimming ..... then next fall I will tackle those trees while the pool is covered and the poison ivy is dormant. I'm allergic. I won't be posting more photos until then most likely, but right now it's a pain using a 6 foot ladder to get in and down the wedding cake steps. I'll keep you guys up and up on the progress as soon as it happens. Thanks
Oh and FYI.......those are north side trees so I get full sun from about 11:30 TO 4:30 5ISH then only maybe 1/4 shade till west ward sunset...maye that'll help me

Here's my pool. The family and I have really enjoyed the pool this year.

Here are a few others if you like:

Les, that is a very neat and tidy yard. I like the pool install, looks good, nice clean water too. Good job.

Thanks Faithfulfrank! The deck WAS alot of work for ALL of my friends: ha ha: I called them all up and said: Beer and Steak.... Two of them came over on Thursday, set the post and 12 guys were here on Saturday and finished the whole thing. My neighbors came over on the Sunday after and were cracking up: said it was like an Old Fashioned Amish Barn Raising Party, never saw a Deck go up so fast. The rest of the wives and I just sat on the existing Deck (red part) and watched, sun bathed and got the beer when 1 on them said they were thirsty and cooked when they said they were hungry. It was pretty comical, but having good friends is always awesome! The only part of the deck that I worked on was the decorations: tiki torches and such:

Just a word of caution about the tiki torches. I had one explode this past June and burnt my deck. It was minor and no one gut hurt but I have moved mine to the yard.
    Very nice set up.
