    Default replacement cartridge filters

Are the replacement brands (Pleatco, Unicel, etc) as good as the original filters from Hayward, Sta-Rite, etc?

    Thanks

The ones from unicel, IMHO are as good as the original manufacturers. Not really familier with Pleatco's quality.

not yet. If it doesn't happen soon I already have the complaint ready to file with the state licensing board and have already talked to an attorney. At this point I am trying to get him to correct whatever he can and I will take it from there. I found out that he has some incentive now since if it doesn't pass final inpection soon he is going to be fined. Might explain why he started fixing things all of a sudden.
