I had the same thing happen this spring when I opened my pool... I called Aquarite, and talked to them, and they diagnosed a bad switch over the phone... I had partial warranty left, so it cost me $50 to get a new one. I put it in, it solved the problem. FYI, I left that switch in during the winter, and that is probably what ruined it... did you leave yours in or take it out.
