Tree on my pool oh no...time for new pool.
I had a 24x52 sharkline AG pool. Tree fell on it. Home owners is covering it. I have the original paperwork from 2006. We had no issues with the pool itself. They can be had for about $1k on ebay. I am planning on removing the old shell and installing the new pool myself. Anything I should be aware of?

Make sure your site is absolutely level (no more than 1/2" between the most distant points) and no debris is there to penetrate the bottom. You may want to put down a foam layer over the sand. You can use tent stakes and mason's line to keep the walls from falling in until the water is in.
I'm sure there are lots of other helpful suggestions.

Thanks Carl. We are going to use the same site as before. So I will need to relevel the sand.
Anyone used a Turtlebay pool? We had a Sharkline I have just begun shopping. Won't be ready to buy till April the earliest.

It's hard to know specific brands besides the biggest names. But if someone's familiar with it they might help.

Yup very true. I believe I am just gonna get another Sharkline. That way I don't have to worry about the spacing of the support pillars. I got old pool completely demoed. Now just to cut it up and hual it off to scrap. Then onto deck repairs. I may spring for composite decking too....
