Default its winter 60 degrees pool is clean but.......

Hi there my pool is clean, its winter in California 60 degrees at most I tested my pool no chlorine. Do I still need to add chlorine even now? Or should I wait till spring. I got some algae last year and I don't want that to happed again. I am ready to do whatever it takes. I added a gallon last week bot it doesn't show. Thanks everyone Dave
13000 gallon fiberglass, variable speed pump, cartridge filter, chlorine sanitized ,k-2006, also daily 5 item check ( ch, ph,ta,)
I only trust the k-2006 titration is better for me

I would suggest raising your chlorine level to suggested shock levels for whatever your CYA level is. See the "Best Guess Table".
