    Default First full pool test

I tested my pool for the first time yesterday evening. Its was raining and its stopeed enough for me to run these tests but It has been raining all night so my levels will be different. These are the results I got with a K-2006C

    28.5 FC
    0.5 CC
    80 TA
    750 CH
    110 CYA
    7.6 PH

I did 3 different test for FC and I got 3 different values 3 different times. 17.5, 23.5, 28.5. CH seem very high but I dont know what the normal levels are.

CH is VERY high, but with your TA low it may be OK. Ben or the others may be able to find a way to lower CH short of dilution to prevent scaling. But the lower TA will help keep from triggering that.

If your CYA is really 110 (again, dilution can help with that) you'll need to maintain FC between 8 and 15ppm, and shock at 25 or more (as you are). The good news is that with your FC in that range you probably won't need much to maintain those levels.
