Thank you for the reply. My water is finally not green anymore. It did take longer than I expected but it's just very cloudy now. I have been brushing everyday and cleaning my filter cartridge and running it 24/7. I am also adding bleach and shock every evening. I am going to keep this up for a couple more days before turning off the pump to see if it will settle to the bottom to be vacuumed. I do have a siphon vacuum so I can remove the dead algae.
Do you recomend any of the floc or drop out products?
If I am going to keep this pool I will probably want to upgrade my filter/pump to one more suited. I will look for some threads for more information on that.

We don't ususally reccomend floc products - sometimes they work and sometimes they make the cloud harder to fix.
