Difficulty in using forum

I have been a member of this forum for at least 8 years. I don't use it very often because of time constraints. I am very frustrated with how user unfriendly it has become! I recently tried to re-register thinking it would be easier...not! I cannot search, nor change my profile to add information. Please help me. Thanks.

You registered just before I first got slammed with dozens of hackers and spammers registering daily.

If you know what your old registration was, I can re-enable it, if it wasn't purged. Mostly I only purge registrations tied to invalid email address; I don't remove them for inactivity.
