Default from green to blue " how sweet it is!!"

For all of you doubting this website...don't give up

My pool was green green even greener than the grass
    16x32 vinyl IG
I followed the instructions, lowered my cya , bleached by the calc
Keep my free CL up and like magic its clear clear clear

Great job everyone who helped me, my wife is amazed.

I do have a bleach maintenance question....
Ok my cya is around 90 from about 150 a week ago
So my range is 5-10 ppm daily. If my Free CL is 11 tonight I left it alone and didn't add anymore bleach
I can only take a reading at night(work thru day) then add bleach at night.
So if my FC is 7 tommorrow night this means I lost 4 ppm thru the day.
should I add to raise it some or wait till it falls to 5 ppm
So when I get to 5 ppm at night it's going to drop by the next night from the sunlight. So should I dose at a reading 5 ppm at night or wait till it drops below 5, just hate to have it drop too much

    Any recommendations

I will post some pics of the before and after pool Friday night if I can. It's living proof bleach does work

    Mike

For now, I'd probably go ahead and raise it up to 10 each night. With time, you'll learn how much cl your pool will typically consume in a day and you'll better know then how high you should take it each evening.
