I am just a guy with an intex pool in the side yard! I really don't and am really not qualified to make much a contribution to the site.

However, I can confirm the value of this site. I have enjoyably and fairly easily maintained the pool for the last two seasons thanks to this site. Moreover, returning from vacation to a pool inundated with algae less than a week ago and swimming today thanks to this site...

Just add water, bleach, borax, and occasionally cya...test daily...get the stuff these folks recommend.

Been fun. I hope to be researching pool construction this winter!
