    Default Difference in Test Kits

I just bought a new HTH 5 way test kit and have a question. With my old kit from Lite House pools theres a bottle of chlorine nutralizer and you added a drop to the water before peforming some tests (PH). With the HTH kit there is no nutralizer or mention of it in the testing procedure. Is this stuff necessary?
    Thanks

There is no neutralizer in the hth kit. The purpose behind it was to keep high chlorine levels from bleaching out and altering your pH results. With the hth kit if the Cl is measureable, it's not high enough to bleach the pH tests.
