I have been using test strips for several years and want to change over to a kit where the water and chemicals are mix in a vial. My question is this:
Does the chemicals used for testing have a self life?
If I have some chemicals left over from this year, can I use them nest year?
I would prefer buying a more expensive kit, but would want it to last more then one season.
Thanks, Ronnie

I think its recommended to replace reagents after 12 months - but it could be less if the chemicals are stored in a hot and/or humid area.

Can all the chemicals be purchased seperately when needed or is it more cost effective to replace the entire kit?
Thanks, Ronnie
You can purchase them either way. Ben offers the refills separately, as well as grouped with the more frequently used reagents. You can also buy them separately at a pool store.
