Light green water-no combined chlorine

Could alkalinity, calcium cause water to be cloudy light green. There is no combined chlorine. I use the taylor 2000 kit. I kept pool filter pump on 2 weeks striaght and wont clear up. In the past i used pool clarifier and seemed to have cleared it. Trying this time but not clearing. Kept chlorine at least 5 ppm and cya is at 55-58. Pool is plasteringround and was painted last winter. Any ideas, suggestions? My water is not city, but well, if that makes a difference. Thanks!
