pristine blue??

Hi,
Newbie here. We just got our 24ft pool filled today! Now, what to do?? A friend reccommended going with Pristine Blue?? We were pretty sure we were going with chlorine, but this sounds tempting. But, the question is this: Is Pristine Blue just a prettier name for baquacil? Is it comparative? I do know to stay away from baquacil..but as I said Pristine Blue sounds tempting??
Any advice would be appreciated, I need to do this soon.
