    Unhappy Fine dirt in pool

Having trouble keeping the pool clean this season. It is in ground 22x40 with a vinyl liner. I can vacuum it and have the pump run on high during the day. After several hours there is fine dark dirt along all of the seams. If I vacuum it out it returns after the pump runs for a while. There is only a very tiny bubble in the pump basket while it is running though there is always a gush of air when I first turn the pump on. The multi port is only in its second season. We do have a nature 2 that I think might have a very small leak at its connection. I was thinking about cutting it off after I read some of the threads about them. Not sure where else to check for the dirt returning.

It is nearly impossible to get all the dust/dirt out of a pool. I can vacuum mine and it will look spotless but hours later some will resettle on the pool floor. No matter how slow you move the vac head, it is inevitable that some dirt will get into suspension. Then, when the water quiets down, it will settle. This may be what is happening in your pool.

On another note --- get rid of the nature 2 unit.
