    Default Salt pool Chlorinator

    Hi there

My Salt Pool Chlorinator - Aquarite Turbo Cell was inspected a week ago and was working perfectly.

Today I noticed the pool water was perfectly clear but did not taste salty at all.
I checked the Chlorine Level and found out it was super low. I checked the chlorinator and the power is off ( although the cell is connected and working).

Can it be the sal level in the pool is very low ? any suggestions ?

    Thank you

You should be testing your salt level periodically. Click on the test kit link in my signature block. You can probably get the Aqua-Chem salt strips from Amazon, even in Canada. We don't love strips, but those seem to do fairly well. Just remember you have to use the conversion table to read the strip.

You can also check the http://piscines-apollo.com/ site for a Taylor test kit. Otherwise, it's pretty hard to get Taylor kits in Canuck-land.
