    Default Liquid Solar Blanket

Hi, I was wondering If anyone can give me any input on this subject on the Liquid Solar Blankets. How affective are they? I was told that they release a barrier at the top of the water that Is invisible to help keep the humidity in the water. Is this true? Im a new pool owner and need all the Info anyone has to offer. Thanks!

I don't personally know about liquid solar blankets but I wouldn't put it in my pool. Don't know what it really is or how it will react in the pool. I'm also suspicious about the claimed metod of action, maybe a floating layer of stuff could inhibit evaporation on a windless night with the filter off but make some waves and the seal is gone and the skimmer would suck the stuff right into the filter.

It has been discussed on the forum before. Use the google search in my signature below and you can probably find some of the previous threads. The consensus was don't use it.
