I can give you my penny & a half. I've worked on 1 indoor pool in the last 20 years. It seemed well built and had a very large dehumidifier, though I can't speak whether it was a good one or not. The room wasn't much larger than the pool, just enough for a 4' skirt deck. The walls were all brick and unaffected. The ceiling, however, was drywall and showed signs of mildew.
They did have many windows that opened, which helped to vent the room. I believe they had an exhaust fan also.
