Leaks out waste line when on filter

I just bought a house with a 27' round above ground. I open the pool up and got it looking really clear everything was going good until this.

Does anyone know why when the Filter is set to filter I still have water trickling out of the drain hose?
I have rotated the handle a couple of times but with no luck. Well maybe a little more then trickling I noticed it drained
about an inch over night.

Sounds like you may need to replace the spider gasket on the multiport. If you go to www.poolsolutions.com, you can click on 'search' on the left-hand side and do a search for 'spider gasket.'
