Default Low pressure on a Hayward DE Filter

I have a Hayward DE Filter that has a psi of 4. I've backwashed the pool, taken the filter apart and cleaned the grids, added more DE. The pressure reading is still low. I also replaced the O'Ring on the filter when I took it apart thinking it might have an air leak. Any suggestions?

Assuming the normal filter pressure is higher than 4 PSI, it is likely that you have either a clogged impeller or a clogged suction line. The impeller inlet can be check by removing the pump basket. If that is clear you can try to back flush the suction line.
