A friend does this every year, he floats the liner by putting the hose behind it and then pulling up to obtain slack, clips it back in the track using a product available at the pool store called liner lock, leaves a small opening through which he drains the water he used to flood and clips the last section back in - best left to a pro but he watched the pro once, paid attention, does it himself now.
The other way works if you don't need much slack to get it back in, that way is to pour hot water on the liner (pool side) and stretching it that half inch you need while it's hot, then, using liner lock, popping it back in.
many thanks, Matt
Hi, folks,
I am confused about something on AG pools. I assumed the frame was simply to support the liner and was, in no way, watertight itself.
If water behind the liner will float the liner, then the frame must be watertight. Aren't many of the AG pools metal framed? How do they get those watertight?
I learn everyday on this forum
Hi Duraleigh,
Janice stated above that her IG pool liner is pulling away....
My friends pool also is an IG, mine's an AG.
