    Default Getting sand in my inground pool. I have a de filter.

    Pool newbie here. My polaris 360 is picking up a good amount of sand from the bottom of my pool. I have a de filter. How is this possible?

    Are you sure it's sand and not dirt particles? A cracked return line underground can draw in dirt and deposit it in the water. I'm not familiar with NJ soil composition, you could very well have sand in your dirt. OR, if you have kids & a sand box...

    Don't discount the wind as a source. Especially if you have construction going on nearby.
