I bought the shop vac and it did suck out the wrinkles in a slat wall pool. I did not have to tape up the 200 or so slat joints. It actually sucked some of the wrinkles out of the deep end too. The suction on this vac was rated 10, they ranged from 6 to 10 at home Depot.
