Default Numerous cracks in 5 day old gunite--Help!

Our gunite was shot last week in Fort Worth Area, and multiple cracks are developing over the entire bottom of the pool, with some small cracks on the wall of the pool. The steel underneath the gunite is 1/2" rebar on 10" throughout. Pool also has helical piers around the wall, so it should have a very solid base.
There are probably 50 cracks so far, and all are wider than hairline. We have watered gunite 2-3 time daily as instructed by gunite company. I called the gunite company (reputable company with many years in DFW), and they said not to worry at all because they are normal shrinkage cracks. Because of the shear number of cracks, and not knowing how deep they go, or if they hurt the integrity of the gunite, what is recommended that I do at this point? They said the cracking happens because they shoot a wetter layer at the end. Looking for suggestions.

They may or may not be problem. The only way we *might* be able to offer advice, is if you post pictures, using Picasa, Webshots, Google Docs, Flickr or something else. You can also email them to poolforum@gmail.com, but it may be a few days before I get them up.

I should add, that if the pool company has truly been around for years -- with the SAME ownership -- then they probably can get buy with what you are seeing. It may not be good (probably is not!), but it may be 'good enough to get buy'. Lots of old companies have worked out short-cuts that, while not ideal, are 'good enough'.

    Picture would definitely help.

Is it crazed (think giraffe pattern) or individual cracks? If it's crazed, the gunite company is correct that it is shrinkage and nothing to worry about. If it's individual, movement-type cracking then it might warrant evaluation.
