OK.... 2 weeks ago, I received readings of ZERO on the CYA Test... I picked up a container of CYA Stabilizer and after doing the math and based on the directions on the container, I "scaled" the amount of CYA granules needed to give me an exact number of 40.... I placed the granules in a tied off sock and placed in front of my return... all well and good..

4 days later (this morning) I did the CYA test to see a reading of 75 !! I know the board posts' claim it takes up to 7 days for the CYA to "get into" the pool water and an accurate reading would appear on or around the 7th day...... So based on that premise, should my CYA test that I will do in 3 days ( one week after application) be higher than or lower than the 75 number i received today...???
