Chlorine level will go down over time, but I am not sure how fast. Usually a week in the sun will remove most chlorine. Just measure free chlorine before you go in the pool again and make sure it is at a safe level.
I was reading one of the posts on google and so that someone was advised to add Bleach to there pool. they had a pool that was 12ft round by 3 ft deep. I have a pool that is 15ft round and 3 ft deep. I have white water mold. its that toilet paper looking slime free floating in the water. I tried to vacuum it but that didn't help. I tried to shock it but that didn't help. I so the post and it advised 1 quart of bleach then repeat in a couple of days if necessary. Then add a cup of bleach every couple of days along with stabilizer. I am not good at directions so I added to gallons of bleach to the pool....... How can I fix this. Will the bleach level drop over the next week? have I obliterated my pool.

Not obliterated, maybe faded. Do you have a Taylor K-2006? Oh, Canada. These kits are pretty expensive in the North - You'll still need it to learn enough about the water to treat for the white water mold.
Chlorine level will drop when the sun shines on the pool or the chlorine destroys contaminants in the water.
