Confused about my registration

Hello. It's been over a week since I registered with username Cobra9777. I'm still unable to search, post, or much of anything else. The only method I could even find to ask THIS question was to register again under a different username and email. I read the new user thread and complied with all the requirements to the best of my knowledge. I posted a question in the Getting Started area and there were two responses, but I'm unable to post a follow-up to resolve that issue. Would appreciate if a mod would take a look at my original profile (Cobra9777) and complete/upgrade my registration. Or at least send me some indication by email of what is missing. You can then delete this username; I set it up solely for the purpose of making this request. Thanks!

ive been about 2 weeks, and with a whole bunch of posts.. I'm getting frustrated. I cant even fix my profile to add stuff to my signature, or email a mod to see what is happening.

yes I can log out and "see" what is going on in the real forums but what good does that do me? I gotta start a new thread if I want to ask a question on something I read?

i'm patiently waiting, too. i figure as busy as i am this summer with just one boy and my etsy business, the forum moderators must be crazy busy! plus, they are doing all this *invaluable* work for free. (free!) therefore, i'm spending my "waiting" time reading everything i can on the forum, as well as the sister site: http://www.poolsolutions.com/. a lot of my questions were answered just by taking some time to read.

I don't understand what's going on. It's been 16 days since I registered for this forum. And I still can't do anything. Can't even respond to direct questions from the mods on a thread that I started.

I've registered for around 40-50 discussion forums over the years, and I've never had this much difficulty. If there is something about my registration that is not to your liking, please let me know and I'll correct it. Thank you.

Cobra, I asked Ben to look at your thread. We have been swamped but you are right 16 days is too long to wait.

I don't understand, though, why you aren't able to reply to posts. You were able to reply in this thread. What thread can you not post a reply in?

Hi Watermom, and thanks. I am apparently able to post in the getting started area under this username (Cobra9777_confused). But I cannot do anything under my original, intended username (Cobra9777). I posted a question under that username and now I can't do anything after logging in. The first post in this thread pretty well explains the situation. Just need you guys to activate Cobra9777, or let me know what to change. Thanks again.
