Hi, Mayhem, and welcome to the Pool Forum!

You started three threads all pretty much with the same content so I merged them all into one. Please only create one thread about a topic. The forum is pretty big already and it makes it very confusing when people are giving advice in multiple places.

    Thanks!

Mayhem, when new members make a post, it goes into a moderation queue until one of us approves it and mods it in. It may not be immediate, but we try and clear the queue multiple times per day.

Until your registration is upgraded, you can read in the other areas if you log out first. If you find posts written by either PoolDoc or me, you can use the google search in our signatures to search through posts on the forum and also on our sister website www.poolsolutions.com.

    Hope this helps!

ok, can you upgrade me then?? I am a total noob and just want to make sure I am making good purchases.
I am looking to buy the Sharkline Matrix 40x 18x 54", it is a coated steel wall pool with resin caps and veritcals.
I do not know what pump and filter to buy.
Is this a pump and filter system? http://www.amazon.com/Hayward-C40015...rtridge+filter
Is that any good for a 40x 18 pool?
I want to get this stuff asap to start swimming, my wife and kids are driving me nuts!!

Actually, PoolDoc does the registration upgrades. We have had soooo many new registrations recently. Hopefully he will get yours done soon. But, like I said above, you can go ahead and be reading in the forum and on www.poolsolutions.com while you wait.

You are going to love having a pool!
