As the pool is filling, you can add some bleach to keep it from turning green until it is full enough to run the pump. Just pour a little bleach slowly around the pool when you have a couple of feet of water in there and use a clean broom, oar, or something to stir it up.
Once it is full, you will need to decide if you want to chlorinate with bleach and add some CYA separately, or use dichlor for awhile as it will add chlorine and CYA. If you decide to use dichlor, get it at Sam's. Other places add a bunch of unwanted stuff in their dichlor. Dichlor is acidic and will push your pH down, so you should have some Borax on hand to use if your ph gets too low.
