Default Convert Hayward 2600 to 120 from 220?

I have an AG pool that came with one of those 1/1000 hp pumps and crappy paper filter.
Last fall I declared that I would never spend another cent on crappy paper filters for the crappy little pump.

During the winter I picked up a used pump and sand filter that cost me about the same total for those crappy filters that never worked. (Can you tell I have a deep hatred for those filters?).

Anyways its time to set the units up and I remember the seller informing me the pump was set for 220 but easily adjustable to 120.

I searched the web quickly and found pdfs for the 2605X7 model (SP 2600 - Z1) but no info on the conversion. Does anyone have this info or urls to this information?

I have a feeling it just a simple shunt inside the motor to switch but thought I'd ask here first.

Thank you for your time, can't wait to vaccum with a REAL pump and filter.

The information you are looking for is on the side of the pump motor. If it is not then google the motor manufacture (Hayward uses two different motor companies) they should have this information under tech. notes. Hope this helps.
