    Default When to test CYA?

Finally got my cya to consistently test at 50. What is a good rule of thumb for testing for it from here on out?
Just moved in so I'm not exactly sure on manufacturers or specs; best guess: 24' x 48" AGP, sand filter with 3/4HP pump, Taylor K-2006

Unless you are using some products that add CYA, you actually don't have to test it anymore for the rest of the season. You will lose some as you add water, but probably not much. If you want, test it one more time in a month or so and then you should be good for the rest of the summer. No reason to waste the reagents.
