    Default Greetings from a newcomer

I would like to thank Ben, the moderators and all of you who participate with your queries and proposals.
Today I discovered the site and I already started studying it.
Thank you for accepting my participation.
My problem is the GREEN pool. I started looking for the proposed Test Kit K-2006A but Amazon does not ship it to Greece where I am based.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you,
    Panos

Hi, Panos. I don't have an idea about the kit, but Ben may (or someone else) may have a suggestion that can help you.

I just wanted to welcome you to the Pool Forum!

Thank you Watermom. For the moment, I am stuck with the "old" type of chemicals so 10 hours ago I used the old type "shock" granules-3lbs- and now the pool color turned from green to blue but the water is not clear yet. I used my only available test kit, OTO/Phenol RedH=7.2 and cl test is orange. I cannot yet calculate the stabilizer level(don't have the right kit) but the chlorine level must be between 20 & 30 (according to "Ben's Best Guess Guide"). The water temperature is 77 early morning and at noon goes up to 87deg.F
I intend to vacuum the bottom of the pool and brush the sides. Is there anything more that I can do?
