    how can a pool with a chlorine level of 5.0 and low ph have yellow on the edge of the pool??

    What is the CYA level and is the yellow algae or a stain?

    Waterbear..... yellow is very light and sweeps easily cya is 65 dave

    just checked it and is 4.0, Hopefully is just pollen trees all around

    If your CYA is 65 and your chlorine is 4.0,you are flirting with an algae bloom! Take a look at the Best Guess Chart in my signature below. You gotta keep your chlorine in range or ........ get used to green pools!
