    Thanks for the replies - the X10 sounds like an easier solution than dealing with the junction box and wires. I'll give it a try!

    I was just researching X10 and have a question - I understand that it takes the place of the switch in my electric box at the pool but is it turned on with a wireless remote from the house? If so, will the wireless signal travel through the closed electric panel door - kind of like a tv remote won't work thru a cabinet?
