Second switch for pool light

I also have the X10 switch module setup and love it. In your case if you have a regular 115V pool light and the switch is out by the pool equipment simply change the existing switch to an X10 switch. The X10 switch is a push button switch so you can turn the light on and off at the pool or remotely from anywhere in the house that you have an X10 control console. The whole shabang should cost less than $60 total. Just make sure the circuit is off when you wire the new X10 switch in. Do a search on X10 and you will find all kinds of info. Radioshack used to carry a line of X10 switches and control consoles as well. X10 works by sending a signal through your existing wiring to the X10 switch modules.

I was just researching X10 and have a question - I understand that it takes the place of the switch in my electric box at the pool but is it turned on with a wireless remote from the house? If so, will the wireless signal travel through the closed electric panel door - kind of like a tv remote won't work thru a cabinet?
