    Default Foam pad?

Just wondering if its worth the extra cost to put a foam pad under the liner of my above ground new install? Thanks!

Depends on the feel you want. Usually it's a smoother floor than sand..However, if one of the sheets slip, you can have a nice groove in that area. I sand usually just gets footprint sand gets real hard over time.

I have always put foam under my pools. It makes the floor much nicer and also gives another layer of protection between the ground and your liner.

Welcome to the Pool Forum, by the way!
