Default Hi new member here! Question on phosphate removers

Products like PhosFree, etc. Are they effective, or waste of money?

Glad to join the Forum! Wish I found this site before spending $50+ on "Alk Up" yesterday to raise my alkalinity. Oh well never again!

Most always, phosphate removers are good at one thing: removing money from your wallet!

Are you having any problems with your pool?

    Welcome to the Pool Forum!

    membership updated.

WaterMom is correct: phosphate removers mostly help pool dealers. They DO remove phosphates . . . but phosphates are usually NOT the real problem.
